Description Letters from W N Grainger of the Burntisland Oil Company regarding the excam of a piece of ground at the Links. 1887. Note saying that he has received his letter regarding road traffic and that he will lay it before his Directors. dated 6 January Post Office Telegram telling Mr Dow that the Meeting of Directors will be on Monday and that, his letter will be laid before them. dated 8 January Note saying that Mr Dow's letter was put before his Directors and that the Chairman would reply. dated 10 January Note arranging a meeting with himself and his Chairman with Mr Dow and the Provost in Kinghorn. dated 11 January Letter confirming the arrangements made between his Company and the Town Council regarding the excamb of the piece of Links ground. He goes on to say that the ground excambed by them to the Council is for the purpose of building a Park Keepers house. dated 14 January Note telling Mr Dow that, although they understood that a house was to be built on the site, they did not wish to hold the Burgh bound to do that dated 18 January Letter telling Mr Dow that if he supplies the lamp, the Company will install it further east to the corner of Hepburn's property. dated 9 December. 7 documents
