Letter from Mr Brainsfather of the Burntisland Oil Company regarding the encroachment of Kinghorn Loch. He tells Mr Dow that he does not know whether the byewash has been raised but from what he has ascertained it appears so. He goes on to say that, up to a few years ago, it was impossible for the water to rise to the present height of the byewash. 18th March Note acknowledging a letter from Mr Dow and saying that he is in no doubt that it will satisfy his Directors. 26th May Letter asking Mr Dow if he can examine various Town Council Minutes relating to the dispute between the Burgh and Mr Ferguson over the inundation of part of Craigeneat lands adjoining the Loch. dated 27th May 3 documents
